Akron-Canton Airport punches above its size on nonstops: the airport announced its 24th nonstop destination in November 2025 and publishes 24 nonstop destination pages. Four airlines split the map between legacy hubs and leisure routes. This guide lists every nonstop destination, organized by airline, with seasonal flags where they matter.
Allegiant Air: 10 Leisure Destinations
Allegiant is CAK’s leisure specialist, flying nonstop to Savannah, St. Pete/Clearwater, Sarasota/Bradenton, Punta Gorda/Ft. Myers, Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, Orlando/Sanford, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Jacksonville, and Destin/Ft. Walton Beach. These routes skew toward Florida beaches and vacation markets, and Allegiant schedules can be less than daily, so check the calendar for your dates.

American Airlines: 3 Hubs
American connects CAK to three of its hubs with daily nonstops: Charlotte (multiple times per day, with a fifth daily frequency added June 2026), Washington D.C. (Reagan National, DCA), and Chicago O’Hare. From those hubs, one stop reaches most of the country and much of the world.
United Airlines: Chicago O’Hare
United flies nonstop between CAK and Chicago O’Hare, adding a fourth daily frequency in 2025. Both American and United serve Chicago daily from CAK, so Chicago is the best-connected destination on the board.
Breeze Airways: 16 Destinations
Breeze, the growth carrier at CAK, flies nonstop to Charleston, Las Vegas, Tampa, Orlando, Norfolk, Ft. Myers, Raleigh/Durham, Myrtle Beach, Sarasota/Bradenton, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Daytona Beach, Wilmington, Jacksonville, Savannah, and Portland, Maine. Note that Savannah is one destination even though both Allegiant and Breeze fly there, and several Florida cities appear on both the Allegiant and Breeze lists. Portland, Maine is the newest nonstop: Breeze launched it July 2, 2026 as a seasonal route, described as Northeast Ohio’s only nonstop connection to Maine’s coast, with fares from $59.

Seasonal Routes and the LAX Question
A few caveats keep this list honest. Portland is seasonal, as noted above. Los Angeles appeared in the airport’s November 2025 nonstop announcement, but it has no current nonstop destination page on the airport’s site, and the airport’s newsroom describes Breeze’s LAX service as seasonal: treat Los Angeles as seasonal or suspended, not a current year-round nonstop. More broadly, routes change: airlines add and drop nonstops with the seasons, so confirm your route on the airline’s site or the airport’s nonstop-flights pages before booking.
