CLE Parking Lots & Rates
- Smart Parking Garage – covered, attached to the terminal by a skywalk (level 3) and a ground-floor walkway (level 1); the closest parking at CLE, with an intelligent guidance system that shows open spaces. Posted rate: $7/hour with a $26 daily max. The only on-site option with true short-term hourly parking.
- Red Lot – the premium reserved lot, reservation only, north of the terminal and reachable by pedestrian walkway. Posted rate: $29/day.
- Blue Lot – covered surface lot north of the terminal, drive-up. Posted rate: $24/day.
- Orange Lot – uncovered, behind the Smart Parking Garage and connected to the terminal by elevated walkway. Drive-up only, credit cards only, cannot be reserved. Posted rate: $21/day.
- Brown Lot – at 4960 Rocky River Drive, served by a courtesy shuttle to the terminal ground transportation area (roughly every 15 minutes). Posted rate: $15/day drive-up, $13/day when booked online — the cheapest official on-site option.
- Curbside Valet – upper roadway by Door 1, with optional concierge services. Posted rate: $37/day.
Which Lot Should You Pick?
- Picking someone up or a quick trip? The Smart Parking Garage’s hourly rate is built for short stays; the free cell phone lot is for waiting in your car — you can’t leave it unattended.
- One-to-three-day trip? Red (reserved) or Blue gets you close to the terminal; Orange is cheaper with a short walkway trip.
- A week or more? The Brown Lot’s online rate is the cheapest official option — just add shuttle time (about 15 minutes between buses) to your airport arrival.
- Bad weather or lots of luggage? The covered garage or valet keeps you dry from car to terminal.
Reserving Parking at CLE
Garage and Red Lot spots can be reserved in advance on the airport’s website (reserve-parking flow under Parking & Transportation), which guarantees you a space even when the garage shows full. Reservations are prepaid and carry a small convenience fee. The Orange and Blue lots are drive-up only — no reservations. If you’re parking off-site instead, Snow Road options (Airport Fast Park, Park Place — both airport-owned) and independent lots start around $5–$8/day with shuttle service.
Getting From Your Lot to the Terminal
From the Smart Parking Garage, take the level-3 skywalk or the ground-floor walkway straight into the terminal. From the Red and Blue lots, follow the pedestrian walkway to the terminal’s north side and head up to the ticketing level. From the Orange lot, cross the elevated walkway via the garage. From the Brown Lot, ride the shuttle to the ground transportation area, then take the escalators/elevators up to ticketing on the upper level. Parking Tips for CLE
- On-site lots fill on peak weekday mornings. If you’re flying out before 9:00 AM, reserve the garage or arrive early for the drive-up lots.
- Save your spot with a photo. Lots are big and level signage is easy to forget after a week away — snap your row/level before you walk in.
