Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) offers free, unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the terminal — a legacy of a Case Western Reserve University project that brought free wireless to the whole airport years ago. Power is the tighter resource: charging stations are clustered at specific gates, and laptop-friendly workstations sit at the concourse entrances. New for 2026, CLE also added bookable private workspaces in every concourse. Here is where to plug in and get work done.

Free Wi-Fi at CLE
Wi-Fi at CLE is free and unlimited across the terminal and concourses — connect, accept the terms splash page, and you’re on. It’s historically been fast enough for streaming and video calls. One caveat: like any shared airport network, speeds dip during the morning rush, so download anything critical before the 5:00–8:00 AM bank.
Charging Station Locations
CLE’s dedicated charging stations are at:
- Concourse A: near gates A1 and A6
- Concourse B: near gates B2 and B7
- Concourse C: near gates C3 and C17
In addition, workstations with connection points are located at the entrances to Concourse A and Concourse B — proper desk-style spots with power, the best free option for laptop work. Beyond the dedicated stations, many gate seating areas have scattered outlets, but coverage is uneven (CLE historically averaged under 3 outlets per gate), so don’t count on an empty outlet at a random gate during peak times.
Jabbrrbox Private Workspaces (New)
In January 2026, CLE installed Jabbrrbox on-demand workspaces — six units total, two in each concourse. Each unit offers Class A-certified soundproofing, acoustics tuned for voice clarity, broadcast-quality lighting for video calls, plus Wi-Fi and power outlets. Pricing starts at $15 for 30 minutes, bookable through the Jabbrrbox app. It’s the best option at CLE for a private call or focused work between flights.
Best Places to Work at CLE
- Concourse entrance workstations (A and B) – free, with power and a real work surface. Arrive early if you need one at peak times.
- The Club CLE (entrance to Concourse B) – the airport’s Priority Pass lounge: complimentary food and drinks, fast Wi-Fi, power at the seats, and quiet work areas. Day passes run around $50. See our CLE lounge guide.
- Restaurant seating with outlets – sit-down spots like Quaker Steak & Lube (Concourse B), Winners Sports Bar & Grill (A6), and Great Lakes Brewing Company (near C14) give you a table, food, and a longer dwell with power nearby.
- Jabbrrbox – when you need guaranteed quiet and privacy for a call, two units per concourse at $15/30 min.

Wi-Fi & Power Tips
- Bring a battery pack. With limited outlets per gate and peak-time competition, a portable charger is the most reliable “charging station” at CLE.
- Charge before security. Ticketing-level seating is calmer than the gate areas during the morning bank — top up while you wait to clear.
- Use the workstations, not the floor. The concourse-entrance workstations have the most reliable power; floor outlets near gates are first-come, first-served.
- For calls, book a Jabbrrbox. Gate areas are loud; $15 for 30 minutes of soundproofed privacy beats shouting over boarding announcements.
- Know your backup. If the workstations are full and your battery is dying, the sit-down restaurants in your concourse are the next-best bet: a table, an outlet nearby, and food while you wait. The Club CLE in Concourse B is the premium version of the same idea.

Make Your CLE Journey Easier with AirportGo
AirportGo is built for the whole airport journey — before, during, and after your flight. Before you fly, use the packing checklist and trip tasks to get organized. During your trip, search the directory for gates, food, restrooms, and ATMs, get step-by-step walking navigation through the terminal, check TSA checkpoint times, and set a parking reminder so your spot is saved. After you land, the find-my-car feature uses your saved parking photo and location to walk you back to your vehicle. It even works offline, so a weak airport signal won’t slow you down. The app is available now on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
