Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) has a smaller lounge lineup than the big hubs, but it still offers comfortable spaces to unwind before your flight — including one airline lounge with a dedicated kids’ play area. All three lounges sit past security, so plan on visiting after you clear a TSA checkpoint.

The Club CLE — Entrance to Concourse B

The Club CLE is the airport’s shared-use lounge: it’s open to passengers on any airline, sitting just inside the entrance to Concourse B. Reported hours are 5:00 AM–8:00 PM daily. Inside you’ll find comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages (beer and wine included), high-speed Wi-Fi, charging stations, workspaces, flight information displays, and a quieter environment than the terminal. Entry is available via a purchased day pass (historically around $45) or through programs such as Priority Pass and LoungeKey, plus selected credit-card lounge benefits — check your card perks before you buy a pass. Day-pass availability can be limited during busy periods, so arriving early helps.

United Club — Concourse C, Between Gates C14 and C16

The United Club sits in Concourse C between gates C14 and C16. Reported hours are 4:30 AM–7:30 PM daily. It’s CLE’s most amenity-rich lounge: complimentary drinks and light snacks, business workspaces, Wi-Fi, charging stations, and customer-service assistance for rebooking. Access goes to United Club members, eligible premium-cabin passengers, Star Alliance Gold members, and travelers buying a one-time pass when capacity allows. Notably, this is one of only three United Clubs in the entire country with a dedicated kids’ play area (per The Points Guy) — flying United with kids? This is your best pre-flight stop at CLE.

American Airlines Admirals Club — Concourse C, Upper Level Near Gate C4

The Admirals Club sits on the upper level near gate C4 in Concourse C, convenient if you’re flying American out of the low C gates. Reported hours are roughly 4:00 AM–8:30 PM. Access follows American’s standard rules: Admirals Club members, eligible AAdvantage elite members on qualifying international itineraries, oneworld Emerald/Sapphire members on qualifying international flights, and premium-cabin passengers on qualifying international or transcontinental routes. Day passes have historically run around $79 but aren’t always sold at every club — confirm with American before counting on one.

How Lounge Access Works at CLE

  • Day passes (The Club CLE; sometimes United Club; occasionally Admirals Club) are the simplest entry — expect them to be restricted when the lounge is full.
  • Lounge networks — Priority Pass and LoungeKey cover The Club CLE; airline memberships (United Club, Admirals Club) cover their own clubs.
  • Credit cards — many premium travel cards include Priority Pass or airline-lounge access; check your card’s benefits before paying for a pass.
  • Elite status and premium cabins — Star Alliance Gold and oneworld elites get access on qualifying itineraries; keep your boarding pass handy.

Tips Before You Visit

Most lounges limit visits to about three hours before your scheduled departure, and entry can be refused during peak periods when the lounge hits capacity. Lounge hours and access rules change often — confirm with the airline or lounge operator before your trip rather than building your schedule around them. Flying out of a different concourse than your lounge? Once you’re past security, you can walk between concourses, but give yourself extra time: Concourse C runs to gate C29. Our Terminal C map and Terminal B map show where everything sits.

Make Your CLE Journey Easier with AirportGo

AirportGo is built for the whole airport journey — before, during, and after your flight. Before you fly, use the packing checklist and trip tasks to get organized. During your trip, search the directory for gates, food, restrooms, and ATMs, get step-by-step walking navigation through the terminal, check TSA checkpoint times, and set a parking reminder so your spot is saved. After you land, the find-my-car feature uses your saved parking photo and location to walk you back to your vehicle. It even works offline, so a weak airport signal won’t slow you down. The app is available now on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
